University Choir Perform Rutter Requiem

The University of Lincoln Choir performed John Rutter’s Requiem at St Giles Church, Lincoln last night in a concert marking Remembrance Sunday.

The movements of the work were interspersed with readings and performances, including  first and second year music students playing and singing works by Bach and George Butterworth.

The Choir is open to students, staff and the wider community and rehearses on a weekly basis at the University and can be heard performing carols in the run up to Christmas. Follow the Choir on Twitter for more.
